About Me

I’m Mirella El Roumi, a Family-Focused Sleep & Wellbeing Specialist, certified lactation specialist, and mother of two.

I support parents and parents-to-be through the early stages of parenthood, helping them navigate sleep challenges, colic, reflux, and big transitions with more clarity, confidence, and understanding.

My work is rooted in the belief that early parenthood should not feel like something you simply “survive,” but something you can move through with more awareness, support, and trust in yourself and your baby.

My journey into this work began with my first child, when I experienced firsthand how overwhelming early parenthood can feel without the right support.

What I expected to be instinctive and natural quickly became a mix of exhaustion, confusion, and constant questioning. Sleep felt unpredictable, every decision felt uncertain, and I often found myself searching for answers that felt either too rigid or too unclear.

That experience changed the way I saw early parenthood. I realized that many of the struggles parents face are not just about babies—they are also about the lack of realistic, grounded guidance in those early months.

Over time, this became even clearer as I worked with hundreds of families. I saw the same patterns again and again: when parents are left to navigate sleep, behavior, and transitions without understanding what is developmentally and biologically normal, anxiety increases and confidence drops. But when they are supported with the right perspective, everything shifts—not because the baby changes, but because the parent’s understanding does.

This is what led me to deepen my work: not to offer quick fixes or rigid methods, but to help parents understand what is happening beneath the surface, and feel more steady in how they respond.

The part we often miss

.

Babies' needs haven't changed since the beginning of humanity.

It is we who are increasingly unable to accommodate those needs in our daily life.

My Approach

My approach starts with the belief that sleep is not something to “fix,” but something to understand.

Every baby is wired differently, which is why I don’t follow rigid schedules, generic sleep formulas, or one-size-fits-all methods. Instead, I focus on helping parents understand the root behind their baby’s behavior, work with biology rather than against it, and create rhythms that feel responsive, realistic, and sustainable for their family.

At the core of my work is helping parents step away from pressure and comparison, and instead learn to observe, understand, and trust their baby.

What I support families with

I guide families through:

  • Sleep challenges and night struggles
  • Colic and reflux
  • Developmental and emotional transitions
  • Early parenthood overwhelm and uncertainty
  • Preparing for changes like weaning or a second baby

Always with a focus on understanding, not fixing.

I support families through all of these moments with one clear intention: to help them better understand their baby, and feel more confident navigating the realities of early parenthood.

Not every approach feels the same for every family, which is why I find it important to be clear about what this way of working feels like in practice.

This approach is for you if:

  • You want to understand your baby rather than follow rigid methods
  • You want to feel more confident reading your baby’s cues
  • You value an approach that respects both your baby’s needs and your family’s reality
  • You’re open to learning and adjusting rather than following fixed rules

This approach may not be the best fit if:

  • You are looking for strict schedules or quick fixes
  • You prefer a fully structured, step-by-step sleep program
  • You are hoping for guaranteed timelines or one method that works for all babies
  • You are not open to adjusting based on your baby’s cues and development

Let’s talk about your baby, your challenges, and your goals.

Whether you’re navigating sleep challenges, big transitions, or simply looking for clarity and reassurance, this is a space to explore what support may feel right for your family.
